FEMA to test Emergency Alert System nationwide

The Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Federal Communications Commission will take over television and radio Wednesday morning (Nov. 9) as part of the first nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System, FEMA said.

We live near the Americana and saw the Accident afterward just before the fire trucks arrived. Horrific scene it was handled well but it wa surreal. That was the first time I've ever seen anything like that.

It appeared that witnesses were waiting near the scene several people stopped. It is a very busy intersection 24/7.

It was dark I feel terrible for all involved.
