On his days off, Officer Ron Cooper often makes the nearly hour-long drive from his home in Morgan Hill to play basketball with students at Terra Bella Academy, a continuation school in Mountain View for students in the county who struggle in a normal academic setting.

I want to say thank you to Officer Cooper. You are a true meaning of community policing. Congrats and thank you for giving so much to our community. You and your family have put tons of smiles in our children's faces.

Wow great story. Keep up the great work Officer Cooper. I too feel that I have a great friend in a local police officer. However, I'm not in school so my situation is much different. However, my respect for the local officer whom I'm speaking about is much the same as this story. Again, touching information.
