This is just silly.

Just fire the rangers and leave the gates open.

The world will not end, we'll be fine without someone at the gate telling us where to park and not to litter.

If we cut a fraction of pension costs, these and other services would have no problems.

As Gov income drops while Gov pensions keep rising, the state better find more new money somewhere.

This is robbing state parks to keep other state parks open. This would just for the closures of other state parks.

The "$21 million every year in perpetuity from a fund earmarked for trail and off-highway-vehicle purposes" are funds collected from off-highway users to fund state parks!

All this would do is change which state parks would be closed, robbing OHV users who paid money into those funds by closing the state parks that they intended to fund. This is not fair.
