Spare the Air alert issued for Thursday

Temperatures are expected to approach 100 degrees in inland parts of the Bay Area this week, according to the National Weather Service. A Spare the Air advisory has been issued for the Bay Area on Thursday. Additional Spare the Air days may occur on Friday and Saturday, according to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.

Does this mean that vector control won't be doing the ground fogging project on Thursday? Hopefully people will know to close their windows at 11pm on Thursday.

Is this alert related to the big fire at the Chevron refinery? They air district should make the oil companies pay for free public transit for the Bay Area for a month after every one of those tragedies.
