I will 'spare the air' when these people show me they are doing more than political posturing. A great place to start is the ridiculous diamond lanes. They allow a Prius that only sips gas to use them which forces the gas guzzlers to sit in the regular lanes spewing out pollutants.

That shows this is more about bureaucrats putting their feet on our necks by forcing their ideology on us than trying to clean the air.

Are new Prius's & electric vehicles allowed to use the HOV lanes? Or is that an old program that is no longer in effect?

I don't think they were very effective, although if my commute was bad, I would have bought one.

curious--How would you suggest the 'bureaucrats' clean the air?
