The Alameda man arrested in August for allegedly burglarizing the Palo Alto home of Apple's late co-founder Steve Jobs pleaded "no contest" Wednesday morning to a string of home burglaries, including the one involving Jobs' home.

This is creepy. I don't want to know that Steve Job's kids have a soda machine and that his wife has a Tiffany necklace. Doesn't this family deserve some privacy? I'd be horrified if my house was broken into and the newspaper published a list of my personal belongings.
And I agree with Diane, a news story about an Alameda man breaking into the home of a famous Palo Alto resident seems rather out of place for the Voice, which one would expect to cover what's happening in Mountain View.
