Don't call it "mixed-media." This sculpture by Ryan Carrington is screws in plywood, plain and simple as it is intricate. Carrington's sculptures are on exhibit at the Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View through Jan. 27.

The city should buy the sculpture for $80,000 and put it in front of a fire station just in case any one thinks it is not art.

Sure be nice to see a pic of the 6,892 screws on plywood, since it is the headliner of the article... That's a lot of screws.
