So far five people have submitted candidate intention statements: Mike Kasperzak, Don Letcher, Alicia Crank, John Inks and Tom Means. Laura Macias is also expected to run again.

Anyone interested in running has until August 8 to file papers. The official nomination period started on July 14.

Don Letcher reminds me of the Mr. Wilson, the next door neighbor from Dennis the Menace, except he's grumpier and angrier.
