Around Town, posted by Editor, Mountain View Voice Online, on Mar 21, 2013 at 3:36 pm

Touring the newly opened Physical Sciences & Engineering Center at Foothill College, it's easy to forget you are on the grounds of a community college. It makes me proud to see my old alma mater get the same tools I got to use at Cray Research 35 years ago. Getting a Failure Analysis, Q/A and Test Engineering job should be a snap.( Yes, I've done all three in my career )

A 3D printer/Desktop Milling Machine is the future of Engineering. No more waiting for 6 weeks for a prototype part/assembly after submitting drawings.

The Architect "Ratcliff" and General Contractor "Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction Co." did an amazing job bring this incredible facility to fruition. Great job on the design and quality of construction!
