Eshoo dedicates post office branch in honor of local soldier

Mountain View's downtown post office was dedicated this weekend to Ken Ballard, the Mountain View High School graduate who died in Iraq in 2004 as a United States Army lieutenant.

Yes, I remember this scandalous "mistake". Too many of them for my taste in our "modern warfare".

And friendly fire seems to play a roll all too often, with the Penatgon's slimy cover up as a knee-jerk SOP.

Best wishes to the Ballard family and my forever gratitute to them and condolencese for their loss.
