I can't wait to read a copy of Jacqueline (Jackie's) book.
I grew up in Mt. View during the 50's, 60's,, and knew Jackie well
from Mt.View High School.
She was very creative from the get-go,, as when we were in a high
school public speaking class together,, & had to give an oral presentation, she chose comedy.. acting both parts of the Smothers
Brothers. It was the funniest "one woman" show I'd seen!!
I'm heading to the library/bookstore to get a copy of her poems!!
A lot of us "neighborhood" kids loved to stop by their house to
watch the koi swim in their pond. They had a low fence so many could
admire it. I'm sure it was one of the only
ones in Mt. View at that time! How wonderful for all of us to be
able to grow up in dear Mt. View & know that "Jackie" has been such a success. One of my favorite memories was eating at Qui Hing Low
restaurant that Jackie's family operated & later, "Andy's" which her
family owned. All the best... Vi
