Congrats to the winners. MV voters selected the best trained and most experienced candidates. One of the losing candidates received $3,000 from a special interest group. Shows that MV voters want council members that are independent and who will make decisions in the best interests of the city. Sends a clear message to outside political groups that try to influence local politics. Congrats also to MV voters.
