Caltrain wants input on new ticket machines

Caltrain riders are being asked for their opinions in an online survey the agency will use to improve features on its ticket vending machines.

Put the machines on the train. The current system is a joke. People waiting in line to buy a ticket from a balky machine, while the train pulls away without them...

Someone needs to send the entire Joint Powers Board on a trip to Europe so they can see what actually works and makes sense.....

Just get a Clipper card and forget the ticket machines. Paper tickets are so 20th century.

Allow payment by touch/RFid. Many times the payment would take many swipes before ultimately being processed.

clipper cards and touch screens are topics included in the survey.

I like the idea of being able to use the ticket machines to "recharge" your clipper card when its low.
