Tesla delays electric SUV, speeds government loan payment

In February of last year, Palo Alto-based Tesla Motors said it would begin production on it newest line of all-electric vehicles, the Model X, at the end of 2013.

What does this mean?

"Tesla has built 3,100 of its Model S sedans and has delivered another 2,650."

From the SEC filing: "As of December 31, 2012, we have produced 3100 Model S vehicles and delivered approximately 2,650."

Roughly 450 have been built and not delivered (presumably for revenue) yet or have another purpose (marketing, publicity, whatever).

This is SHOCKING and reVOLTing news. Tesla may be having problems with the CAPACITY to build safe and reliable EVs.
