The city council is set to discuss the impacts of high speed rail in a meeting Tuesday chock full of agenda items pertaining to the the city's evironmental future.

HSR - everybody wants it, nobody bothers to think through the implementation details.

A High Speed Rail stop in Mountain View is not planned and is unlikely at this point.

I think the high speed rail should start in San Jose, not San Francisco. The issues involved in cramming it up and down the Peninsula are not worth it. Increase CalTrain's existing weekend service and allow people to take CalTrain and then transfer to high speed rail in San Jose.
