Mountain View native grabs hold of Hubble

Mountain View's Megan McArthur, an astronaut who is part of the Space Shuttle Atlantis mission to repair the Hubble Space Telescope, this week plucked the telescope from orbit, according to NASA.

McArthur is technically a native Hawaiian (she was born in Honolulu), but it's good to see a local doing a great job on the shuttle.

Actually Ned, Megan went to MVHS for the first two years of high school before transferring to St Francis :)

I don't recall saying anything negative about MVHS... just that a quality private education pays off. I've obviously struck a nerve.
