"Gang violence is spiking now," said Eddie Olmos. Really? Where is this spike? I sure don't see it in this community.

Really...the city just spend 3.5 Million on this project when they are talking about having to use reserve funds? Does anyone else see a problem with this?

Police Activity League to play sports with kids...ok sounds good but what every happen to after school sports programs part of the schools and having the cops be cops? I hope they are not paying cops to kick a soccer ball or play basketball with kids. I know, I know...positive influence on kids with police officers. I remember when it use to be the parents that were the ones raising the kids and were the positive influence. The parents would point to the police officer and say, "You go to him if you are in trouble or lost." Not hey pass me the ball.

We should know how to say one thing about funds one day and spend the next in this city. It sure does not sounds as bad as they were saying before....

Gang violence can skyrocket, for all I care. If these punks want to kill each other off, that's fine with me. It's up to their parents to keep them out of trouble, not the taxpayers.
