Town Square

Later, skaters

Original post made on Jul 28, 2010

It's got four wheels, but it's not a skateboard. Brendan Gutierrez, 9, and his sisters Madeline, 11, and Mary, 7, play with a remote-controlled truck on the skate park ramps at Rengstorff Park on Tuesday, July 27. Photo by Michelle Le.

Mountain View skate park is so "ghetto". Mountain View really does need a good skate park. Is there any way the city of Mountain View can arrange to build a park like this one? The boys would love it!

If Orcas Island can arrange this, I know Mountain View can!!!

That Orcas Island skate park looks nice, but I would fear that if we got a similar one here, some City attorney would recommend bulldozing it and filling it in.
