The Mountain View Whisman School District anticipates having more money next school year than it had in 2010-11, thanks to two large and unexpected infusions of cash that the district received late last school year.

The Shoreline deal is a huge win for Mountain View, and our superintendent should be lauded for his efforts. I have absolutely no trouble believing that that money will be put to substantially better use by the school district than it would by the city.

even after paying Pat Polifrone a quarter of a million dollars there is still surplus money in the coffers..... interesting
