County renews Bullis charter amid criticism

Just a few points...
The vote was 5-2 not 3-2... That's a pretty big difference with a clear majority of the board supporting BCS.
Interesting that LASD has 25% from Mountain View and BCS has 20%. I'd say they are doing pretty well considering that a huge chunk of Mountain View is geographically really far from BCS.
My kids aren't yet in school but frankly, I'm really happy there is a choice. LASD seems to be the only district that doesn't offer any type of choice for students.
I'm a strong believe that one size does not fit all so am thrilled that there will still be an option if we decide LASD is not for us.

High test scores, waiting list to attend. Must be doing something right? Maybe those board members should emulate that model on other campuses, rather than trying to crush it.
