A video game, prescription painkillers and prescription heartburn medication were reported stolen from a Mountain View apartment, located in the 200 block of Whisman Rd., on March 23, police said.

A copy of Madden 2012 for Xbox 360 and the pills, 25 oxycodone (an opioid) and 40 pantoprazole (an acid reflux medication), were taken sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., according to Liz Wylie, a spokeswoman with the Mountain View Police Department.

The victim, a 26-year-old man, told police he had left his apartment door unlocked so that his family could get into his apartment while he was away at work, Wylie said. The family arrived at about 12:30 p.m. When the victim returned, he discovered that the medicine and the video game were missing.

No value for the pills was given.

  1. Gee, could they provide LESS detail? Why bother publishing this at all? I guess they just figure we’ll all fill in the blanks, as they don’t want to offend anyone, now do they?
