Caltrain ridership skyrockets

Caltrain needs to get municipal funding. For a service that is being used more every year, the demand is clearly there for a good way to travel up and down the peninsula. Every rider that hops on the caltrain is a person who is not getting in a car and adding to congestion on 101 and 280. With over 50,000 daily riders, I certainly do not want another 50,000 cars trying to commute every day - putting a higher cost on roads, emergency services, and other infrastructure.
Every dollar spent on Caltrain will come back in more savings everywhere else.

Caltrain is a railroad run by planners and vendors. No checks and balances in place
to make sure the vendors and consultants do their jobs.
Case in point the PTC program manager isn't even registered
to do business in California and is billing $300 per hour
to Caltrain without any timecard backup.
No oversight = No accountability = No more money

Caltrain is relative bargain. VTA chips in about $12 million a year in operating costs for the service.
