Town Square

Just Another New Year's Eve

Original post made by Jennifer Fogliani, Whisman Station, on Jan 1, 2012

It started out as a typical Saturday. Josie and Owen woke up early. They sat in our bed and watched a cartoon while my husband I tried to enjoy a few more moments of peace and quiet.

Happy New Year to you and your family! So glad that you are happy in your new community...when all is said and done, a strong sense of living in a great community is a wonderful thing.

Doesn't sound so happy to me. Sounds more like complaining.

"my husband I tried to enjoy a few more moments of peace and quiet"

"it had been a few years since we'd celebrated Dec. 31st in style"

"considering how rare it is that my husband and I get a night out, it made sense we wouldn't think to make plans on a night when babysitters and reservations are hard to come by."
