Upcoming debates

Several debates are scheduled for Mountain View City Council candidates in the coming weeks.

• Cable access television KMVT will have a live broadcast of a debate on Channel 15 on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 7:30 p.m.

• The League of Women Voters is hosting a debate on Thursday, Oct. 14, at 7 p.m. in the Mountain View City Council chambers, 500 Castro St.

• The Cuesta Park Neighborhood Association will hold a debate on Thursday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. at St. Timothy's Church at the corner of Grant and Cuesta streets.

• The Monta Loma Neighborhood Association's debate is set for Saturday, Oct. 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Monta Loma School, 460 Thompson Ave.
