Sue Lawrence

Sue Lawrence, who grew up in Mountain View, died in Sunnyvale on March 14.

Born in San Francisco in 1953, she attended Huff Elementary School and graduated from Awalt High School in 1971. She received her bachelor's degree from San Jose State University and was, for many years, an employee of Apple in Cupertino. She was third generation Bay Area native. Due to her illness, her family members say they have missed her for a long time.

She is survived by her two children, Hayden Kares of Danville, and Michael Kares of Martinez; her father, Robert S. Lawrence of Mountain View; and her sisters Ann Lawrence Buller and Heather Lawrence Perlitch.
