Performance: Mountain View annual dance recital at MVCPA
City of Mountain View Recreation/Dance presents the annual dance recital at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. Youth and teens will showcase dance routines in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and more. Monday, May 18 at 6:30 p.m. on the MVCPA’s MainStage. Tickets are $2. Call (650) 903-6000 to order.
Performance: Open Mic Night at Red Rock
Red Rock Coffee’s Open Mic night happens every Monday from 7-10 p.m. Participants get 10 minutes — enough time for two songs, a few poems or a stand-up routine. Covers are fine, but original work is encouraged. Sign up at the cafe at 6:30 p.m. Red Rock is located at 201 Castro St.
