It’s healthy and imperative that we take breaks from working on our relationship. We need to relax, unwind, and just enjoy each others’ company. This too, is a bid for connection, and adds to our "store" of nurturing.

We need fun, smiles, and down-time.

I captured this beautiful field of wildflowers on the back side of Mt. Hamilton (San Jose, CA), and wanted to share it with you.

Yesterday was the 15th anniversary of my first date with my husband (even though we met in high school in 1976). It was lovely. We had a picnic, listened to music, gazed into each others’ eyes.

If you don’t work on your relationship, please begin to do so. And yes, take breaks and have fun.
