Sorry to hear that South Bay painter Terri Hill is leaving Viewpoints Gallery in Los Altos, where she’s been showing her watercolors for several years. In this uber-cycling-friendly area, she’s known for her cheerful, color-popping bike paintings where gears and spokes are often the stars. We put her “Parked in Palo Alto” on the Weekly’s cover a few years back.
I hear that Terri has been battling an illness, and we wish her well. This month, she and another Terri (Ford, who is also leaving the gallery) are having a farewell exhibit at Viewpoints. Watercolors and pastels, scenes of rocks and beaches, bikes and bridges.
