Correction Correction (December 05, 2003)

The voice mistakenly reported in its Nov. 28 issue that Environmental Planning Commission member Jac Siegel abstained on a vote recommending that participation in the new historic preservation ordinance be mandatory. In fact, he opposed the motion as a protest. Siegel said he wants to make it mandatory only if there are more significant incentives for participating property owners. The Voice regrets the error.
