11/26 - Arson, Century 16 Theatre

At 5:56 p.m., two suspects were reported throwing bottles onto Highway 101 from the Shoreline Boulevard overpass. A second call to the police followed in which the suspects' descriptions were similar. This call reported that the two suspects were setting fire to the rear of Century 16 Theatre. The small fire was located in and around an electrical box, and when police arrived, the fire was extinguished. One of the two suspects, a 15-year-old boy, was cited for arson and was released to his parents.

11/28 - Burglary and arrest, 948 Bay St.

A staff member at the American Medical Response building awoke at 7:22 a.m. and heard someone in the facility. She saw a man going through one of the drawers and confronted him. The suspect then fled, but police located him a block or so away from the facility. The 47-year-old was identified and booked at the Main Jail in San Jose.
