12/4 - Suspicious Circumstances, 2594 Old Middlefield Road

A police officer observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot in front of Fred's Place. As the officer approached the vehicle, he noticed that one of the three passengers was passed out in the back seat.

After determining that one of the occupants of the car was on probation, the officer searched the car, finding a stolen driver's license and a trumpet taken from a car in Palo Alto an hour earlier. All three of the people in the car were arrested and the 23-year-old driver faces charges of possession of stolen property.

12/7 - Armed Robbery, 900 N. Rengstorff Ave.

An 80-year-old male awoke to find someone rifling through his dresser drawers, at which point the suspect pointed a gun at the man and demanded his wallet. The suspect forced the man to move to another part of the house. In the course of doing so, the victim fell down, and the suspect fled. The suspect is a white male, 5'7" with a medium build. He was wearing a white bandanna and a white long sleeve shirt. The incident is still under investigation.
