Los Altos and Los Gatos evenly matched Los Altos and Los Gatos evenly matched (December 26, 2003)

Despite the efforts of the Eagles, Los Altos was unable to score against Los Gatos on Dec. 18. However, the Wildcats were held scoreless, too, and the game ended in a tie.

Both teams, usually two of the SCVAL leaders, were looking for their first league win, but poor weather conditions and the slippery artificial turf surface that Los Altos now calls home field, proved frustrating. As a result, neither team was able to get any offensive momentum going.

Although the final score was not the result either team was looking for, it did earn each of them a point in the league standings. After the match, both teams were 0-1-1 in league.
