Assault with a Deadly Weapon -- 12/27, 600 block N. Whisman Rd.
At 8:30 p.m., two brothers were working on their vehicle across the street from their house when an unknown vehicle drove past them. The passengers yelled something at the two men, and the vehicle then circled around and stopped at the location where they were working.
One passenger got out and attacked one of the brothers with a knife, resulting in three wounds to the victim's head. At that point, the victims tried to go inside their house. One brother picked up a stick and threw it at the unknown vehicle, breaking a window. The passengers then got in the car and sped away.
Kidnapping -- 12/28, 2300 block W. Middlefield Rd.
A female was walking home from work on Rock Street around 5:30 p.m. She was passing a park when she noticed a dark beige sedan on the side of the road. The sedan driver got out and forced the victim into the car.
A physical fight ensued, and the suspect drove the vehicle for about a block and then pulled over at a curb. The victim then escaped the vehicle. The suspect is described as a 30-year-old, heavy-set male, about 5 feet 3 inches tall, and was last seen wearing a black beanie, gray sweatshirt, and black pants.
