(January 02, 2004) CSMA needs $590,000 by Jan. 1
The Community School of Music and Art (CSMA) needs to raise $590,000 by Jan. 1 to complete its $11.5 million Center for Music and Arts Education, its first permanent home in its 35-year history.
Getting these funds by Jan. 1 is what is needed for the new center to receive a $750,000 challenge grant from the Kresge Foundation of Michigan.

Basketball tournament at St. Nicholas
St. Nicholas School will host its 31st annual boys' Invitational Basketball Classic on Jan. 9, 10 and 11. Games begin on the afternoon of Jan. 9 and conclude with the championship game Jan. 11. An awards ceremony is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Jan. 11.
The tournament is open to the public. St. Nicholas alumni will receive $2 admission if they wear their class shirts. For more information about the tournament, contact Mary Curry or Michelle Sklar 941-4056.
