1/12 -- Bank robbery, 700 block W. El Camino Real

At 1:05 p.m., a man walked up to a teller at California Bank & Trust and presented a note demanding money. He did not show a weapon. The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money, and he left the bank on foot. He is described as a white or Hispanic adult male between 6'1" and 6'3", 220 pounds, clean shaven and wearing a maroon beanie hat. No one was injured in the robbery.
1/13 -- Attempted robbery, Costco

A man approached a female in the Costco parking lot as she was loading her car after shopping at 1:39 p.m. The woman started yelling and screaming to attract attention. The suspect produced a knife and threatened the victim, who continued yelling. The suspect gave up and fled on foot. The victim was unhurt. The suspect is described as a black male between 20- and 25-years-old, approximately six feet tall, 200 pounds, with short black hair and wearing a black sweatshirt with orange or red lettering.
1/10 -- Assault With a Deadly Weapon, N. Rengstorff Avenue and San Luis Avenue

Police responded at 1:52 p.m. to a report of a group of people fighting in the street. Several people were found involved in a possibly gang-related fight. Two subjects were struck in the head, one with a rock and the other with a baseball bat. All of the people involved declined police intervention, but the responding officers determined who threw the rock and who used the bat. Both juveniles, aged 16 and 17, were sent to juvenile hall.
