Teens can work at polls Teens can work at polls (February 13, 2004)

The Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters is seeking high school seniors who are at least 16, U.S. citizens, and have a grade point average of at least 2.5 to be poll workers during the March 2 election.

Students must get permission from their parents and from their schools. They will earn a stipend of $95 to $130, more if they have bilingual skills or recruit other poll workers.
