Hallack will stay until school year ends
Bubb Principal Diana Hallack announced last week that she will step down from the position at the end of the school year.

Superintendent Jim Negri said Hallack, who was tapped for the job in the summer of 2002, indicated she wanted to look into doing something new. Negri added that Hallack's resignation was her own decision.

"She's decided to move on. She's decided to go onto other opportunities," Negri said.

Negri said the district will begin searching for a new principal soon, but he hasn't worked out the details of the selection process yet.

Hallack couldn't be reached for comment before press time.
