Corrections
(March 05, 2004) Last week's story about the hit-and-run accident in Los Gatos reported the incident happened Feb. 21. It actually occurred on Feb. 19. The Voice regrets the error.
A separate story about the Mountain View Fire Department's controlled burn entitled "Inside an inferno" should have stated that while the city paid for the majority of the demolition of the house, the homeowner is responsible for the cost of the cleanup.
