Crime prevention tips
The Mountain View police department is sending out a monthly crime prevention
tip along with other community interest information. For the tip, go to

Protecting the workforce
Assembly member Sally Lieber is hosting a conference on protecting workers from toxic hazards on April 16, in council chambers at Mountain View City Hall, 500 Castro St.
"Silicon Valley: Protecting Our Workforce" will feature a variety of speakers addressing the impact of toxic exposure to the workforce, job hazards, protection for workers and the effect of these issues on the worker's compensation system.
The conference is free and open to the public. It will begin at 10 a.m. with opening remarks from Lieber and close at 3:30 p.m., following a public comment and question session at 2:50 p.m.
