Caltrain hits vehicle, no one injured Caltrain hits vehicle, no one injured (May 07, 2004)

A Caltrain struck a vehicle at the Mountain View Caltrain station on April 29, but the driver had vacated the vehicle before the collision so there were no injuries, a Caltrain spokeswoman said.

"The person got out of the vehicle before it was hit,'' said Caltrain spokeswoman Janet McGovern.

Northbound Caltrain train No. 71 was temporarily stopped at the Rengstorff Avenue grade while police conducted an investigation, according to McGovern.

The non-injury accident took place at around 3 p.m.
