(June 11, 2004) Auto Burglary -- Central Avenue, 6/4
Police responded to a 4:20 a.m. call about an auto burglary in progress and found two men ransacking a car.
The two men exited the car and drove away in the vehicle they had driven there in. Police followed them and eventually stopped the vehicle at the corner of Moffett Boulevard and Middlefield Road.
Police discovered the driver was on probation and searched the vehicle. Officers found items from the burglarized vehicle in the driver's car.
The two men were arrested on suspicion of auto burglary.
Driving Under the Influence -- Easy Street, 6/4
An officer patrolling the area spotted a car driving recklessly.
The car proceeded to sideswipe a parked car, run head on into another parked car, causing it to hit the car parked behind it, and then flipped over and landed on its roof.
The driver and two passengers were taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries. The driver was later arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
Indecent Exposure -- Steven's Creek Trail, 6/7
A woman was walking along Steven's Creek Trail near Easy Street at 5:58 p.m. when she spotted a man sitting on a nearby bench with his genitals exposed.
The woman phoned police who located the man and determined he was intoxicated. Police arrested the man on suspicion of public drunkenness and indecent exposure.
