Obituary

Luciano Javier died in Mountain View on June 19 at the age of 93. A native of the Philippines, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked in maintenance at Rickey's Hyatt House and Varian Associates.

Javier was a member of the American Legion, the Filipino Catholic Federation, and a founding member of the Cabugao Association. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Iluminada, sons George and Robert, and a grandson, Owen.

Visitation was scheduled for June 23 at Cusimano Family Colonial Mortuary and the funeral was scheduled for June 24 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church. Interment will be at Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto.
