Disorderly Conduct -- 7-11, 1905 Latham St., 6/19

A man exiting a 7-11 convenience store was confronted by a knife-wielding, 39-year-old man. The two exchanged words before the first man performed a citizen's arrest. Police arrived soon after and took the suspect into custody.

Fire -- Highway 85 and 237 Dana St., 6/22

At 1:43 p.m. the Mountain View Fire Department received the first of many calls regarding a grass fire by the side of the road on Highway 85. Firefighters responded quickly, and the blaze was under control by 2:03 p.m. As of late Tuesday afternoon, fire investigators were still struggling to determine what started the fire.
