Condon murder trial delayed again
Three defendants accused of murdering Doris Condon in October 2003 will spend two more months in jail, after a preliminary hearing was delayed until August 26. Originally scheduled for June 28, the evidence hearing had to be continued when one of the defense lawyers could not make it because of another homicide case.
Deputy District Attorney Dan Fehderau expects the preliminary hearing to last several days, as the defense tests the case by cross-examining witnesses. After last Monday's delay, Fehderau said he will be reconsidering his witness list.
