Indecent Exposure -- 400 block Pettis Ave., 6/25

A woman called the police at 8:53 a.m. to report a man masturbating in a parked car in front of her house. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the suspect masturbating to animated pornography on a laptop computer. The suspect admitted that his behavior was wrong, and explained that while he lived close by, his apartment was full of people. Police arrested the man on indecent exposure charges and booked him at the county's main jail in San Jose.

Domestic Disturbance -- 1700 block California St., 6/28

Police received a call at 5:53 p.m. reporting a domestic violence incident. When officers arrived at the scene, they found that the couple had been engaged in an intense argument when the male allegedly slammed the female to the floor, pushed on her chest and verbally abused her.

The victim declined medical attention, but her prominent scratches, red marks and bruising led officers to arrest the man on domestic disturbance charges. The suspect was booked at the main jail in San Jose.
