Voices Around Town
(July 02, 2004) What's your opinion of Michael Moore's new film "Fahrenheit 9/11"?
Asked in Downtown Mountain View. Pictures and interviews by David Herbert.
"Michael Moore is definitely a radical. I enjoy his perspective. Even if it is partisan, he puts [the film] out there, and people can make a decision one way or another. In every war, there is the question of who fights and why."
Dianna Harris, Santa Clara
"I think it's fine. I think Michael Moore has a lot of good things in his favor. I'm looking forward to seeing it."
Marjorie Haymes, Mountain View
"I think it's all ridiculous. I haven't seen it, and I don't intend to."
Donna Lowes, Mountain View
"It's hard to decide if the Democrats will totally benefit. I will have a more informed opinion after I see it."
Kathleen Long, Los Altos
"I hope it just generates enough interest so people watch the film and start thinking that maybe there's some truth. Maybe the movie will get people to elect a real president."
Peter Kuser, Mountain View
