Police Log Police Log (July 16, 2004)

Robbery -- Radio Shack, 530 Showers Drive, 7/10

Two employees and a customer were in Radio Shack when a man walked in at 5:18 p.m. and approached the cash register. He showed a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money. An employee handed the suspect cash from the register, at which point the suspect ordered the two employees and the customer to the floor and then fled. An employee then called the police, who conducted a thorough search of the area but came up empty-handed.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a black male in his late 20s to 40s, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds. At the time of the crime, he was wearing a green parka jacket, a white jumpsuit, a white top with a red stripe and a black beanie.

Prowling -- 100 block Calderon Ave., 7/13

At 12:04 a.m., a woman reported being in her apartment's bathroom when she heard noises outside her window. She then saw a male's hand on the window and could see a silhouetted figure outside.

The suspect fled, and a search of the area by police was unsuccessful. There is no description of the male suspect.
