Attempted Robbery --1800 block California St., 9/19

An 18-year-old male was confronted by two suspects who demanded his necklace at about 6:30 p.m. One suspect brandished a knife and slashed the victim's arm when the victim did not give up his necklace.

The victim ran from the scene with lacerations on his arm and went to the hospital where the crime was reported. The two suspects fled the area.

The suspect with the knife is described as a Hispanic male with short dark hair, about 16 to 20 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, and about 130 to 150 pounds.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a shaved head, about 17 to 20 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and about 130 to 150 pounds.
