Wedding

MountainView residents John Jacob Thompson and Sabrina Christine Castillo are engaged to be married Oct. 9 in Los Altos.

Thompson graduated from Serrano High School in Phelan, Calif. and earned a degree in management from Menlo College in Atherton. His parents are John and Leslie Thompson of Pinon Hills, Calif.

Castillo graduated from Canada College in Redwood City and from Menlo College in management information systems. Her parents, Amador Castillo and Toni Barger, both live in San Francisco.

Thompson currently works at Bay Meadows race track in the marketing department. Castillo is currently pursuing two master's degrees, one from the University of San Francisco in information systems, and another from Carnegie Mellon West in e-business technology.
