Assault with a Deadly Weapon -- 2400 block Old Middlefield Way, 10/07

At about 3:13 p.m., a man threw a piece of wood from a construction site at another man's vehicle, resulting in a broken window. As the victim entered his vehicle and left the site, an unknown woman pursued the victim and rammed the victim's car with her vehicle on Highway 101.

The incident was reported by California Highway Patrol as a hit-and-run and is still under investigation.

Concealed Weapon in Vehicle -- 100 block Moffett Blvd., 10/10

Two men and two juvenile females were pulled over in a 1992 white Ford Mustang for speeding at 55 mph in a 35 mph zone at about 1:57 a.m.

While arresting the male driver for a DUI, police searched the vehicle and discovered a .357 Magnum pistol beneath the front passenger seat. Police added a concealed weapon charge to the driver and arrested the other male passenger for possession of ammunition and narcotics.

The two juvenile females were cited for curfew violations and narcotics. They were released to their parents.
